2015 Midwestern State Summer Camps

13th Annual 7-on-7 "Let It Fly" Passing Tournament and "Big Man Challenge" -- May 16, 2015

The "Let It Fly" Passing Tournament is a 7-on-7 event. Football teams will be placed in groups and play three games in a round robin format. The records from league play will determine seeding for a single elimination tournament. Teams will advance in the tournament bracket until a champion is crowned. The event will take place at the MSU practice fields beginning at 10 a.m. on May 16. It is limited to the first 16 teams to register. Teams will receive up to 14 t-shirts for the tournament. The "Big Man Challenge" is separate from the "Let It Fly" Championship and it includes drills, competitions and challenges for Offensive Linemen and Defensive Linemen. Big Man teams will also receive up to 14 t-shirts for the event. Tournament Brochure Registration: $210 per team and $15 for every player over the original 14 before May 4, 2015. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due by May 4. Late Registration: $260 after May 5, 2015.

2015 Midwestern State Summer Clinic Series -- June 1-25, 2015

The Midwestern State Volleyball Summer Clinic Series runs Jun 1-25 at D.L. Ligon Coliseum and is open to all levels from ages 11-18. Sessions will be developed by MSU Head Coach and ZIVA Founder Natalie Rawson and taught by experienced coaches and players. Sessions and courts will be divided up by skill level: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Drills and instruction will be modified to fit the level of each group. The focus will always begin with fundamentals; progresses into combination moves then advance into higher-level tactics. Sessions are available seperately or in bulk at the cost of $40 for one session; $180 for six sessions; $220 for nine sessions or $240 for 12 sessions. 2015 Midwestern State Mustang Tennis Camp -- June 8-11, 2015; July 27-31, 2015; Aug. 3-6, 2015

The MSU Summer Tennis Camps are set for three weeks this summer at Hamilton Park Tennis Center. Primary on-court coaching done by Scott Linn (current MSU Head Tennis Coach with over 19 years experience), Johnny Simons (Director of Tennis at Hamilton Park starting his 46th year) and Dave Alden (Current Head Pro at Hamilton Park with 11 years as a collegiate head coach). Camp runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday each week with 14 hours of on-court coaching. Ratio of 5:1 camper-to-instructor with a 6:1 maximum. Each camper receives t-shirt, water jug and video analysis. Camp is focused on 11-to-18-year old players but exceptions will be made based upon experience. Doug Elder's 2015 MSU Boys Soccer Camp -- June 8-12, 2015

The MSU Soccer Camp provides a great environment for learning the skills, techniques and tactics of the world's most popular sport. We will provide quality, enthusiastic coaches who have all played and have an extensive background in the game of soccer. The camp not only teaches the components of soccer but also provides a fun, educational soccer environment, which helps the camper develop a love for playing. 2015 Mustangs Softball Camp -- June 10-12, 2015

The Mustangs Softball Camp is designed to give athletes the opportunity to learn and improve fundamental offensive and defensive skills. Campers will be able to have hands-on instruction with the MSU coaching staff and players. Those in attendance will need to bring their own lunches. Midwestern State Girls' Elite Soccer Camp  -- June 11-14, 2015

The Midwestern State Girls' Elite Soccer Camp runs Thursday, June 11 through Sunday, June 14. The camp begins Thursday from 1-10 p.m. then 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday before wrapping up from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Sunday. 2015 Mustangs Softball Showcase Camp -- June 13, 2015

The Mustangs Softball Showcase Camp is not only designed to give student-athletes the opportunity to learn and improve fundamental offensive and defensive skills, but also be able to compete against and with other campers who desire to be evaluated by MSU coaches and compete at the collegiate level. Campers will be able to have hands-on instruction with the MSU coaching staff and get to experience the lfe of a Mustangs softball player. MSU Men's Basketball College ID Camp (Session 2) -- June 13, 2015

Focused skill instruction and evaluation for serious high school athletes with aspirations to play college basketball. Coach Nelson Haggerty and staff will evaluate, critique, instruct and improve the athlete's skills and abilities as well as expose the athlete to college level practice drills, situations and teaching points. Midwestern State Women's Basketball Mustangs Skills Camp -- June 15-18, 2015

The Midwestern State Women's Basketball Skills Camp emphasizes solid fundamental offensive basketball skills taught using the newest techniques. Campers will learn ball handling techniques, alternative moves to the basket shooting with confidence, precision passing, getting open, court movement and spacing. Midwestern State Women's Basketball Mustangs Fundamentals Camp -- June 15-18, 2015

The Midwestern State Women's Basketball Camp is designed to develop position specific fundamentals and enhance team play. Each camper will learn how to be a more complete player as they develop skills in ball handling, shooting, passing, rebounding, offensive movement and defensive footwork. Midwestern State Girls' Soccer Mini Kickers Soccer Camp -- June 15-19, 2015

The Midwestern State Girls' Soccer Mini Kickers Soccer Camp runs from Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 for girls of 5-12 years of age. Cost is $100 for half-day campers and $175 for full day (9-12 only). Campers registered and paid in full prior to May 15 receive a 10-percent discount. 2015 Bill Maskill's Football Camp and Kicking School at Midwestern State University -- June 17-19, 2015

The 2015 Bill Maskill's Football Camp will provide you with the finest individual football instruction. An outstanding staff of highly qualified, experienced high school and college coaches will instruct the athletes in all phases of their individual position. Techniques and drills will be stressed. Campers will be divided into age groups. This is a camp of fundamentals. The kicking camp (June 17-18) will be held by Rocky Willingham, owner/director of Rocky Willingham Kicking Services. 2015 Bill Maskill's Senior Elite at Midwestern State University -- June 20, 2015

The 2015 Bill Maskill's Senior Elite includes individual testing, instructional drills by position and information on academics and recruiting rules. This summer marks the second year of the College Soccer ID Camp at Midwestern State. Featuring the MSU men's soccer coaching staff, the three-day event is geared for advanced player development and exposure to what it's like to compete at the college level. In addition to college coaches (NCAA and NAIA), several MSU players will be employed by the combine for demonstration purposes. 2015 MSU Enhancement Volleyball Camp (Mustang Minis / Maroon Camp)-- June 29-July 1, 2015

These camps are designed to introduce young players to the fundamental skills of the sport. They will focus on the basic skills of volleyball (i.e. passing, setting, attacking and serving). The camps are structured to provide a solid foundation for young athletes planning on an athletic future in the sport of volleyball.
