Mustangs Park
Located on the former grounds of Cullum Stadium at the intersection of Louis J. Rodriguez Blvd. and Nocona Trail on the campus of Midwestern State University, Stang Park has served as the home of the soccer program since 1972.
The premiere soccer facility of the Southwest has served as the site of eight national championship contests including four NAIA title matches (1982, 1983, 1986, 1987) and four NCAA Division II finals including the men's and women's contests in 2004 and 2005.
The facility with a capacity for 1,200 spectators boasts a 120- by 72-yard bermuda playing surface with Kwik Goal net systems and is serviced by a spacious press box, full-service concessions and restroom facilities.
Cullum Stadium, which stood from 1953 to 1970, seated 10,148 fans and featured state-of-the-art lighting and a 100-foot press box. It was completed in 1953 at a cost of $150,000. The facility served as the home of MSU football from 1953-56, the Maskat Shriner's Oil Bowl from 1953-69 and was the home for Rider High School football during the '60s.
The land for the original stadium was donated by the Cullum family.
