- a four-year letterwinner for coach Bryan Branch at Louise (Texas) High School.
- helped Hornets to school's first state tournament appearance in 2009-10 after leading the LHS volleyball squad to a Class A state volleyball championship in the fall of 2009.
- earned TABC and TGCA All-State honors and was the District 28-A MVP after scoring 17.1 points and pulling down 8.7 rebounds a game as a junior in 2009-10.
