WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Midwestern State moved back into the latest National Soccer Coaches' Association of America/HendricksCars.com Division II Poll at No. 25 as released Tuesday afternoon.
Fueled by the stellar play of junior forwards
Kelsey Hill and
Lindsay Pritchard who led the Mustangs to a 2-0 win over Newman (Kan.) Sunday afternoon at the MSU Soccer Field, the Mustangs reclaimed a national ranking after securing the No. 20 spots two weeks ago.
Midwestern is one of four programs from the South Central Region receiving mention in the national poll joining No. 7 Central Missouri, No. 11 St. Edward's (Texas) and No. 19 West Texas A&M.
The Mustangs (5-1) kickoff Lone Star Conference play Friday afternoon at Abilene Christian. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
